Fiege, a leading logistics service provider in Europe, is implementing the continent's largest AutoStore system at its multi-user center. Covering nearly 10,000 square meters, the system will utilize 160 robots to store and retrieve 70,000 containers. AutoStore is an automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) designed for high-density, space-efficient storage. Robots retrieve bins from a grid-based structure, optimizing warehouse space by up to 60%. The system is scalable and ensures 99.7% uptime, making it ideal for growing operations. EPG has been operating its own logistics center since 2012, strengthening its position as a supply chain expert. By being equipped with state-of-the-art warehouse technologies, we can continuously drive forward our own technological innovations. Warehouse planning and consulting concepts can be immediately applied and further developed. In addition, both EPG experts and customers have the opportunity to apply and test what they have learned in theory directly in practice in EPL's live operation.
